Uzbekistan’s Natural Gas Imports Fall 30.6% in January–July 2025

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In January–July 2025, Uzbekistan reduced its natural gas imports by 30.6%, according to the National Statistics Committee.

During this period, the country purchased gas worth US$734 million.

At the same time, Uzbekistan’s natural gas exports rose by 38.2%, reaching US$438.6 million.

The main imports come from Russia and Turkmenistan, while the majority of exports are directed to China.
