Uzbekistan’s Natural Gas and Oil Production Drops in First Ten Months of 2025

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan’s natural gas and oil output declined in the first 10 months of 2025, while coal and diesel production increased, according to the National Statistics Committee.

The country produced 35.5 billion cubic meters of natural gas from January to October, down 4.8% from the same period in 2024. Oil production fell 9.1% to 547,300 tons.

Coal output rose 3.2% to 6.5 million tons.

Motor gasoline production dropped 10.9% to 974,700 tons, while diesel output grew 11.4% to 978,100 tons compared with 877,900 tons a year earlier.

Gas condensate production declined 8.3% to 930,900 tons from 1.02 million tons in the same period last year.
