Uzbekistan’s Mobile Phone Imports Surge by 25.8%

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — During January and February 2026, Uzbekistan imported 1,467,126 mobile phones for a total value of US$286 million. According to data from the National Statistics Committee, these supplies originated from 40 foreign countries. Compared to the same period last year, the volume of imports increased by 301,000 units, representing a growth of 25.8%.

China remains the primary supplier of mobile phones, accounting for 1,246,448 units. Significant volumes also originated from Vietnam, totaling 186,148 phones. Supplies from India reached 12,574 units, followed by the Republic of Korea with 5,170 and Russia with 3,792. Other countries accounted for a combined total of 12,994 mobile devices.

The figures reflect a steady increase in demand for mobile electronics within the domestic market and an expansion in the geography of foreign trade supplies.
