Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Geology Holds Talks with IGA on Geothermal Energy Development

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A meeting was held at the Ministry of Mining and Geology under the leadership of First Deputy Minister Feruza Khamidova with a delegation from the International Geothermal Association (IGA).

At the start of the event, IGA representatives gave a presentation on the organization’s activities, objectives, and projects in the field of geothermal energy, highlighting achieved results and future plans.

Ministry officials emphasized Uzbekistan’s significant potential for geothermal energy development and expressed readiness to cooperate with the Association on implementing promising projects in this sector.
