Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Ministry of Employment and Poverty Reduction of the Republic of Uzbekistan has clarified the work schedule for citizens in connection with the celebration of Independence Day on 1 September.

Employees with a five-day work week will have three days off: 30 August (Saturday), 31 August (Sunday), and 1 September (the holiday).

Those working a six-day week will have two days off —31 August and 1 September.

The ministry stressed that no additional days off have been granted, and no rescheduling of regular days off has been made.
