Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Digital Technologies Holds Talks with HPE and Juniper

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A delegation from Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Digital Technologies held negotiations with Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) and Juniper to discuss prospects for expanding cooperation in the field of digital technologies.

During the meeting with Lars Hartman, Vice President of the Trade Division for Central Europe at HPE and Juniper, the parties explored training programs for specialists and youth on the technologies of these companies, as well as the development of digital infrastructure in Uzbekistan.

Special attention was given to improving e-government systems using HPE and Juniper solutions.

As a result of the talks, an agreement was reached to soon sign a memorandum of cooperation, which will include experience sharing, implementation of joint projects, and measures to enhance human capital.

The discussion also covered the possibility of involving company specialists in data processing for the “Digital Government” system and training employees of government agencies.
