Uzbekistan’s Minister of Transport Discusses Tashkent Metro Development with Chinese Company

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan’s Minister of Transport Ilkhom Makhkamov held a meeting with Wu Binjun, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Chinese company Tianjin Rail Transit Group.

During the talks, the parties discussed prospective projects for the development of urban transport infrastructure, with particular attention given to the modernization of existing stations and the construction of new facilities for the Tashkent Metro.

As a result of the meeting, an agreement was reached to continue active cooperation, with specific steps outlined for the implementation of the initiatives under discussion.
