Uzbekistan’s Minister of Agriculture Visits IFAPA Research Center

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Minister of Agriculture of Uzbekistan, Ibrokhim Abdurakhmonov, visited the “Alameda del Obispo” center of the Institute for Agricultural and Fisheries Research and Training (IFAPA) in Córdoba, Andalusia, Spain.

During the visit, the minister held meetings with institute experts to discuss scientific research, the implementation of innovative technologies, and sustainable development in the agricultural sector.

In a constructive and friendly atmosphere, participants explored ways to enhance agricultural efficiency, adopt resource-saving technologies, improve seed production, plant protection, and agricultural education, as well as opportunities to expand collaboration in these areas.

The visit concluded with agreements on mutual exchange of experience, implementation of joint projects, and strengthening cooperation between research centers.

The initiative aims to reinforce bilateral interaction and introduce innovative approaches to Uzbekistan’s agricultural sector.
