Uzbekistan’s Metallurgical Output Reaches 184.4 Trillion Soums in January–October 2025
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In January–October 2025, the value of metallurgical production in Uzbekistan amounted to 184.4 trillion soums, according to data from the National Statistics Committee.
Compared with the same period of 2024, the indicator increased by 1.9 percent, reflecting moderate growth in the sector amid sustained demand from industry and infrastructure projects.
Navoi Region remains the key center of metallurgical production, accounting for 105.5 trillion soums. Significant volumes were also recorded in Tashkent Region at 51.1 trillion soums and in the city of Tashkent at 19.1 trillion soums.
Among other regions, the highest figures were reported in Samarkand Region with 5.4 trillion soums, Namangan Region with 960.5 billion soums, Syrdarya Region with 854.5 billion soums, and Ferghana Region with 320.5 billion soums.
Lower levels of metallurgical output were registered in Jizzakh Region at 275.4 billion soums, Surkhandarya Region at 250.9 billion soums, the Republic of Karakalpakstan at 202.8 billion soums, Bukhara Region at 167.8 billion soums, as well as Khorezm Region at 58 billion soums, Andijan Region at 107.5 billion soums, and Kashkadarya Region at 34.3 billion soums.
