Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Uzbekistan Outsourcing Session was held in Osaka, Japan, organized by the Ministry of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan and IT Park Uzbekistan.

The main goal of the event was to showcase Uzbekistan’s investment and human resources potential in the information technology sector, as well as to establish direct contacts with Japanese IT companies. More than 30 representatives from 20 Japanese companies participated in the event.

Shirzod Shermatov, Minister of Digital Technologies, emphasized the importance of international cooperation in technology.

It was highlighted that the partnership between Japan and Uzbekistan opens new horizons for the exchange of advanced solutions and contributes to the stable economic growth of both countries.

During the meeting, representatives from the ministry and IT Park provided detailed information about government support for the IT sector, developed infrastructure, tax incentives, and the wide opportunities available for foreign investors. Special attention was given to programs for training IT specialists.

As a result of the meeting, more than 15 companies expressed interest in exploring deeper collaboration opportunities and studying Uzbekistan’s IT potential.
