Uzbekistan’s Investment Minister Discusses New Projects with German Business Leaders
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 30 September, Uzbekistan’s Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade Laziz Kudratov continued his business program in Germany, holding a series of meetings with representatives of the country’s business and financial sectors, as well as international organizations.
In the first half of the day, he met with the leadership and members of the Frankfurt Chamber of Commerce and Industry, where discussions focused on expanding cooperation with the German business community in finance, transport and logistics, mechanical engineering, information and communication technologies, the chemical and pharmaceutical industries, as well as the services sector.
Further meetings were held with representatives of the Eastern Committee of the German Economy, the leadership of Deutsche Bundesbank, and executives of major companies. These talks addressed the prospects of investment cooperation and explored new areas of partnership.
As part of the World Alliance of International Financial Centers’ session, Kudratov also took part in a discussion dedicated to the development of digital currencies and visited the Frankfurt Stock Exchange.
The visit underscored German businesses’ readiness to expand investment and trade cooperation, opening up new opportunities to strengthen Uzbekistan’s position in the international economic arena.
