Uzbekistan’s International Reserves Reach US$59.3 Billion
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan’s international reserves have reached a record level of US$59.3 billion, rising by more than US$4 billion over the past month.
This represents the highest level in the country’s history.
According to the Central Bank, as of the end of October, the total reserves amounted to US$54.9 billion.
The value of gold in the reserves is estimated at US$47.8 billion, with a physical volume of 11.9 million troy ounces.
Foreign currency assets, including cash and deposits, account for US$9.8 billion.
