Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Insurance Guarantee Fund of the Republic of Uzbekistan has officially become a member of the International Forum of Insurance Guarantee Schemes (IFIGS), marking a significant step in expanding its international cooperation.

Membership in IFIGS affirms the growing importance of the Fund within the insurance compensation system and recognizes its contribution to ensuring market stability and protecting the rights of insured individuals. This move also opens new avenues for Uzbekistan’s active participation in the global dialogue on insurance guarantee mechanisms.

The Fund plans to take an active role within the Forum, foster partnerships with counterpart institutions in other countries, and apply leading international practices to enhance Uzbekistan’s national system of insurance protection. The adoption of global standards is expected to strengthen public trust in insurance institutions and increase the sector’s overall resilience.
