Uzbekistan’s Gold and Foreign Exchange Reserves Reach Record US$55 Billion
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan’s gold and foreign exchange reserves rose by US$4.9 billion in September 2025, reaching a record level of US$55 billion for the first time, according to the Central Bank of Uzbekistan.
The regulator reported that foreign currency reserves increased from US$9.4 billion to US$10.2 billion.
The value of gold reserves grew by US$4.2 billion, reaching US$44.2 billion.
At the same time, the Central Bank noted that the physical volume of gold declined from 11.8 million to 11.6 million troy ounces.
