Uzbekistan’s GDP Revised: Growth Reaches US$121.4 Billion According to New Data

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 17 November 2025, an international conference and press briefing were held at the Renessans Cinema in Tashkent, dedicated to reforms in the national statistical system under the title “A New Stage in National Statistics: Transparency and International Standards.”

The event was attended by representatives of the World Bank, IMF, UN agencies (UNFPA, FAO), relevant ministries and agencies, international experts, and members of the media.

Chairman of the National Statistics Committee, Behzod Khamraev, presented the results of the revision of Uzbekistan’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) based on updated data.

According to the presented figures, nominal GDP for 2024 increased from 1,454.6 trillion soums to 1,535.4 trillion soums, reflecting a growth of 5.6%.

In dollar terms, GDP reached US$121.4 billion, compared with the previous estimate of US$115.0 billion. Per capita GDP amounted to 41.3 million soums.

The revision also showed that full execution of the 2024 state budget revealed an added value of 36.4 trillion soums.

In the industrial sector, added value grew by 12.7 trillion soums; in agriculture, by 5.6 trillion soums; in construction, by 10.3 trillion soums; and in the services sector, by 16.3 trillion soums.
