Uzbekistan’s GDP makes up 41.686 trln. soums in 1H

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The volume of gross domestic product (GDP) of Uzbekistan made up 41.686 trillion soums at current prices, or grew by 8.1% year-on-year, the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan said.

In the structure of GDP by forms of ownership the share of the non-state sector is 79.3%(in January-June 2011 – 78.8%) and that of the state sector – 20.7%(in January-June 2011 – 21.2%).

Share of production of goods in the GDP structure reached 36.2% in the first half of 2012 (39.8% in 1H 2011) and production of services – 52.2% (48.3%).

Net taxes for products and export-import operations made up 11.6% in structure of GDP in January-June 2012 (11.9%).
