Uzbekistan’s GDP makes up 117.491 trln. soums in Jan-Sep

The committee said that the growth of industrial production made up 7.3% and reached 62.225 trillion soums in January-September 2015.

In the reporting period agriculture production rose by 6.6% year-on-year to 31.822 trillion soums. Investments into fixed capital reached 28.477 trillion soums, which rose by 9.9%.

The volume of construction works grew by 18.7% to 18.88 trillion soum in January-September 2015, the committee said.

About 1.137 billion tonnes of freight were transported in Uzbekistan in the first nine months of 2015, which rose by 4.3% year-on-year. The freight turnover reached 63.493 billion tonnes-km (+1%).

Passenger transportation hit 5.458 billion people in January-September 2015. The growth rate made up 3.4% year-on-year. The passenger turnover rose by 5.6% to 76.262 billion passenger-km.

Retail trade turnover of Uzbekistan made up 50.732 trillion soums in Janaury-September 2015, which grew by 15% year-on-year. The volume of paid services rose by 12.9% year-on-year to 62.841 trillion soums in January-September 2015.
