Uzbekistan’s GDP hits 77.751 trln. soums in 2011

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The volume of gross domestic product (GDP) of Uzbekistan made up 77.751 trillion soums at current prices in 2011 or grew by 8.3% compared to 2010, the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan said.

In the structure of GDP by forms of ownership, the share of the non-state sector was 82.5% (in January-December 2010 – 81.8%) and that of the state sector – 17.5% (18.2%).

Share of goods production in GDP structure reached 41.7% in 2011 (42.4% in 2010) and services – 50.5% (49% in 2010).

Net taxes for goods and export-import operations made up 7.8% in GDP structure in 2011 against 8.6% in 2010.
