Industrial output of Uzbekistan grew by 6.8% to 19.276 trillion soums. The volume of agriculture production rose by 6.7% to 7.597 trillion soums.
Investments to fixed capital made up 8.255 trillion soums or grew by 4.4% year-on-year in the reporting period. The volume of executed construction works reached 4.38 trillion soums in January-June 2011, which is 3.5% more year-on-year.
In six months of 2011, some 583.2 million tonnes of cargo (+9.2%) and 3.036 billion passengers (+5.4%) were transported in Uzbekistan. Cargo turnover made up 37.74 billion tonnes/km and exceeded level of January-June 2010 by 6.8%. Passenger turnover made up 38.104 billion passenger/km and grew by 7.5%.
Retail trade turnover in Uzbekistan reached 11.978 trillion soums in the first half of 2011 or grew by 14.6% year-on-year.
The volume of rendered paid services made up 4.514 trillion soums in the first six months of 2011, which is 14% more compared to the same period of 2010.
In January-June 2011, the exports of Uzbekistan jumped by 18.9% to make up US$7.241 billion.
