Uzbekistan’s Gas Production Falls 5.1% in January–November 2025

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — From January to November 2025, Uzbekistan produced 38.9 billion cubic meters of natural gas, down 5.1% compared to 41.0 billion cubic meters during the same period in 2024, according to the National Statistics Committee.

Declines were also recorded in the oil sector. During the first eleven months of 2025, the country produced 601.2 thousand tons of crude oil, 8.6% lower than 657.6 thousand tons in January–November 2024.

Gas condensate production similarly fell by 8.5%, totaling 1,020.4 thousand tons compared to 1,114.7 thousand tons a year earlier.

Meanwhile, the coal industry continued to grow, with output reaching 7.5 million tons, up 2.7% from 7.3 million tons in the same period of 2024.

In the processing segment, trends were mixed. Gasoline production declined to 1,082.1 thousand tons, down 9.0% from last year, while diesel fuel output rose 15.0%, reaching 1,071.5 thousand tons compared to 931.6 thousand tons in January–November 2024.
