Uzbekistan’s foreign trade turnover reaches US$25.537bn

Foreign trade turnover of Uzbekistan made up US$25.537 billion in 2011, which grew by 15% compared to 2010, the material of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan said.
According to the official data, exports of Uzbekistan rose by 15.4% year-on-year in 2011 to US$15.027 billion. Imports of the country grew by 14.5% to US$10.51 billion.
Foreign trade balance surplus made up US$4.517 billion in 2011 or grew by US$272.6 billion compared to previous year.
