Uzbekistan’s Foreign Ministry Expresses Concern Over Escalation on Afghanistan–Pakistan Border

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan has expressed serious concern over the escalating situation along the border between Afghanistan and Pakistan.

The ministry called on all parties to immediately cease hostilities, exercise maximum restraint, and prevent further escalation of tensions.

Uzbekistan’s Foreign Ministry emphasized that any disputes should be resolved solely through peaceful, political, and diplomatic means, based on the principles of mutual respect, sovereignty, and territorial integrity of the states involved.
