Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister Receives Credentials of New Brazilian Ambassador

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On  9 December, Uzbekistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bakhtiyor Saidov, received the credentials of the new Brazilian Ambassador to Uzbekistan, Sérgio Rodrigues dos Santos, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the rapidly developing bilateral cooperation and prospects for expanding engagement across various sectors.

Saidov noted that despite the considerable geographical distance, Tashkent and Brasília have broad opportunities to strengthen their partnership.

The Foreign Minister wished the new ambassador success and productive work during his tenure in Uzbekistan.
