Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister Receives Copies of Credentials from New Japanese Ambassador
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bakhtiyor Saidov, received copies of the credentials of the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Uzbekistan, Kenji Hirata.
During the meeting, it was emphasized that bilateral and multilateral cooperation between Uzbekistan and Japan continues to actively develop, with the scope of engagement expanding through the implementation of mutually beneficial initiatives and projects.
The Foreign Minister wished the new ambassador success in his diplomatic mission in Uzbekistan.
Kenji Hirata succeeds Takashi Hatori, who led Japan’s diplomatic mission in Tashkent since December 2022.
