Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister Meets Secretary-General of Gulf Cooperation Council

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bakhtiyor Saidov, met with Jasem Mohammed Al-Budaiwi, Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), on the sidelines of the 80th session of the UN General Assembly.

The parties held an open and constructive exchange of views on prospects for deepening ties between Central Asia and the Gulf countries.

Discussions focused on expanding cooperation in trade, investment, and cultural-humanitarian exchanges, while maintaining emphasis on strengthening existing connections.

Both sides expressed confidence that their joint efforts would bring tangible benefits to the regions and contribute to further integration and development of the partnership.
