Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov Holds Series of Bilateral Meetings with International Counterparts
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — As part of his diplomatic activities, Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov held a series of meetings with official representatives of foreign states aimed at strengthening bilateral relations and expanding cooperation across various sectors.
During discussions with Uganda’s Foreign Minister Jeje Odongo, the parties explored prospects for collaboration in trade, investment, agriculture, education, and culture, as well as the importance of joint efforts on international platforms. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to deepening friendship and building mutually beneficial partnerships.
The meeting with Cuba’s Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla focused on further strengthening bilateral ties and expanding cooperation in all areas. As a result, an Interagency Cooperation Protocol was signed, providing for regular political consultations between the foreign ministries, establishing a solid foundation for dialogue and joint initiatives in political, economic, and cultural spheres.
In talks with Kazakhstan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Murat Nurtleu, the sides discussed strategic partnership and allied relations, as well as opportunities to deepen cooperation in trade, investment, energy, and culture. The negotiations reaffirmed the strong friendship and long-term collaboration between the two countries.
Minister Saidov also met with Montenegro’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ervin Ibrahimovic, where they discussed strengthening economic ties, new trade opportunities, and expanding cultural exchange. An Interagency Cooperation Protocol was signed to ensure regular political consultations between the foreign ministries.
Negotiations with North Macedonia’s Foreign Minister and Minister of Foreign Trade Timcho Mucunski concluded with the signing of an Interagency Cooperation Protocol, which provides for regular political consultations to deepen dialogue and strengthen partnership.
In a meeting with Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha, discussions covered bilateral cooperation in trade, investment, education, and cultural exchange, as well as key aspects of multilateral engagement. Both sides reaffirmed their mutual commitment to deepening dialogue and developing partnership.
Discussions with Algeria’s Foreign Minister Ahmed Attaf focused on ways to strengthen bilateral ties, expand economic and trade cooperation, develop cultural and educational exchanges, and coordinate on regional and multilateral issues.
With Tajikistan’s Foreign Minister Sirojiddin Muhriddin, the parties discussed further strengthening strategic partnership and allied relations, promoting cooperation across all sectors, and jointly ensuring peace, stability, and prosperity in the region.
The meeting with Belarus’ Foreign Minister Maksim Ryzhenkov focused on enhancing political dialogue, expanding trade and investment cooperation, and deepening cultural and humanitarian ties.
Discussions with Bulgaria’s Foreign Minister Georgi Georgiev addressed strengthening bilateral relations, developing economic cooperation, trade and investment, as well as cultural and educational exchanges.
Finally, talks with Palau’s State Minister E.P. Gustav Aitaro concluded with the signing of a joint communiqué establishing diplomatic relations between Uzbekistan and Palau, opening new opportunities for long-term cooperation and partnership.
All meetings underscored Uzbekistan’s active foreign policy stance and its commitment to dialogue, trust-building, and the expansion of mutually beneficial cooperation with partners worldwide.
