Uzbekistan’s Electrical Exports to Kazakhstan Surge by 43%

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Kazakhstan remains one of the key markets for Uzbek electrical equipment exports.

In January–February 2026, shipments to Kazakhstan totaled US$7.6 million, up US$2.29 million, or nearly 43%, compared with the same period last year.

Household appliances accounted for the largest share of exports, reaching approximately US$3.5 million. Significant growth was also seen in the cable and conductor segment, which totaled US$2.68 million.

Major suppliers to the Kazakh market include Artikul Aziya Kabel, Sam Elektr Invest, Statura, Metal Processing Technology, Uzkabel, SharqTubes, Sam Elektro Servis, and Brando Tech, which together contributed a substantial portion of total exports.

The increase in shipments is largely supported by the geographical proximity of the two countries, a well-developed transport and logistics infrastructure, and deepening industrial cooperation, enhancing the competitiveness of Uzbek products in Kazakhstan.

Further expansion of trade is expected through increased exports of cable and conductor products, electrical equipment, household appliances, and other copper-based electrical goods.
