Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Uzbek Embassy in Turkey is carrying out an active outreach campaign to prepare for the upcoming parliamentary elections in Uzbekistan, Dunyo reported.

Particular attention in this process is given to integrated work with the media to ensure conditions for citizens of Uzbekistan in Turkey to fully use their constitutional right.

In order to reach the voters as much as possible, relevant information, including phone numbers and addresses created at polling stations at the Embassy and Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Istanbul, is widely disseminated through the use of the Turkish media, web resources of diplomatic missions, as well as popular social networks Telegram, Facebook and others.

In the published materials, it is reported that citizens of Uzbekistan can apply to precinct election commissions in Ankara and Istanbul with a request to be included in the voters list. It is emphasized that voters can also receive electronic registration at least 15 days before election day in the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of our country.

During the field meetings in the regions of Turkey organized by the Embassy of our country, the upcoming parliamentary elections in Uzbekistan are described in detail, press releases and other information materials are distributed. In particular, such meetings took place in the cities of Karabyuk and Kastamonu, in which Uzbek youth studying in Turkish universities took an active part.
