Uzbekistan’s Deputy Culture Minister Visits Belgrade

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan’s First Deputy Minister of Culture, Avazkhon Tadjikhanov, visited Belgrade to engage with representatives of Serbia’s cultural sector.

The meetings included Lav Grigoriy Pajkic, Secretary of the Ministry of Culture; Stanko Blagojevich, Assistant Minister for International Relations and European Integration; Dragoljub Baich, Director General of the National Theatre; Ljubica Vranesh, Director of the National Theatre Opera; and Jakov Petrovich, Acting Director of the Serbia Film Center.

Discussions focused on opportunities for cooperation in cinema, theater, music, and cultural exchanges. Agreements were reached to implement joint cultural projects, organize touring performances, and facilitate exchanges of creative teams.

The initiatives aim to strengthen Uzbek-Serbian cultural ties, encourage artistic collaboration, and promote knowledge sharing in the fields of art, music, theater, and film.
