Uzbekistan’s Consulate in Novosibirsk Assisted Four Nationals in Returning Home
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Novosibirsk assisted four Uzbek citizens who found themselves in a difficult situation in the city of Biysk, Altai Krai, Russia, Dunyo news agency reported.
The compatriots had been working at a closed enterprise for several months, during which their unscrupulous employer confiscated their passports. After they contacted the consulate, the diplomats quickly organized their return to Uzbekistan.
Certificates for repatriation were issued to the citizens urgently and free of charge, temporary accommodation was provided in a hostel, and airline tickets for the “Novosibirsk–Tashkent” route were arranged with the assistance of the Migration Agency.
The Uzbek nationals expressed their gratitude to the consulate staff for their prompt response and professional handling of the situation.
