Uzbekistan’s Chamber of Commerce Studies Chinese PENGKAI Water Treatment Experience

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, Davron Vakhobov, visited Guangzhou Pengkai Environment Technology Corp., located in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, China.

Founded in 2011, PENGKAI is among the top five Chinese companies specializing in wastewater treatment and recycling, as well as manufacturing equipment for environmental safety.

The company has an annual production capacity of 500,000 cubic meters of equipment and produces integrated water treatment systems with biological and chemical processing, including technologies such as RO, UF, MBR, and EDI. Its facilities treat up to 60% of wastewater, and its products are exported to over 40 countries, meeting international ISO 9001 standards.

During the visit, the sides discussed the potential use of PENGKAI equipment for the construction of a treatment facility in the Pakhtaobod District of Andijan Region.

Once implemented, textile enterprises in Pakhtaobod and Yukori-Chirchik Districts will be able to utilize treated water that meets international environmental standards, opening additional opportunities for exporting products to European and U.S. markets.

The meeting concluded with the agreement on practical steps for implementing joint projects in water management and infrastructure, aimed at enhancing the environmental sustainability and competitiveness of Uzbek enterprises.
