Uzbekistan’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry and South Korean Platform MEDIWIX Ko. Sign Memorandum on E-Commerce Cooperation

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan and the South Korean online platform MEDIWIX Ko. have signed a memorandum of cooperation aimed at developing e-commerce between the two countries. The signing took place with the support of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in South Korea.

The MEDIWIX Ko. platform will serve as an online marketplace for entrepreneurs from Uzbekistan and South Korea, helping elevate trade and economic relations to a new level. As part of the second stage of cooperation, MEDIWIX Ko. is expected to be integrated with major international online platforms with broad audiences, such as Coupang and GoBiz.

Following the negotiations, the parties agreed that on 17 September this year, the leadership of MEDIWIX Ko. will visit Tashkent to sign the final agreement on the joint implementation of the online platform.

In addition, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan will assist in attracting international grants to support the integration of MEDIWIX Ko. with global e-commerce platforms, thereby strengthening the position of Uzbek entrepreneurs in the international market.
