Uzbekistan’s Ambassador Highlights Sultan Al Saud Foundation Education Programs
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Nodirjon Turgunov, visited the Sultan bin Abdul-Aziz Al Saud Foundation, meeting with CEO Saleh Ibrahim Al-Kholayfi and the foundation’s staff.
During the visit, the ambassador was briefed on the foundation’s key programs, including initiatives supporting education and healthcare at both national and international levels.
Turgunov paid special attention to the foundation’s Arabic language initiatives through the Sultan bin Abdul-Aziz Al Saud International Language Training Program in Central Asia.
A recent training course under this program was conducted at Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies in collaboration with the Islamic Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (ICESCO). The course aims to train Arabic language instructors for non-Arabic-speaking communities and to expand the language’s presence in regional academic institutions.
The ambassador praised the programs’ significance in promoting education and cultural cooperation between Uzbekistan and Middle Eastern countries.
