Uzbekistanis spent 16.5 trillion soums on healthcare services in 10 months
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The volume of market-based healthcare services in January–October 2025 amounted to 16.5 trillion soums, which is 15.4% higher than in the same period of 2024, according to the National Statistics Committee.
The share of healthcare services in the total volume of market services reached 2%.
Regional distribution of service volume is as follows: the highest figure was recorded in the city of Tashkent — 7.7 trillion soums.
In Tashkent region, the volume reached 1.6 trillion soums; in Samarkand region — 1.2 trillion soums; and in Ferghana region — 1.1 trillion soums.
They are followed by Namangan region with 747.7 billion soums, Andijan region with 739 billion soums, Bukhara region with 640.1 billion soums, Kashkadarya region with 612.8 billion soums, Khorezm region with 557.8 billion soums, Surkhandarya region with 416.8 billion soums, Jizzakh region with 398.8 billion soums, Syrdarya region with 293.1 billion soums, the Republic of Karakalpakstan with 285.6 billion soums, and Navoi region with 269 billion soums.
