Uzbekistan Wins 20 Medals at CIS Games in Azerbaijan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Uzbek national team delivered an impressive performance at the CIS Games in Azerbaijan, securing a total of 20 medals: three gold, three silver, and fourteen bronze.

The gold medals were claimed by Azamat Kayumov in trap shooting, Muhammadyusuf Yusufjonov in sambo in the under-71 kg category, and Bilolbek Abdugapparov in sambo under 79 kg.

Silver medals went to Adelina Khasanova in women’s singles table tennis, Valeria Khegay in WT taekwondo up to 46 kg, and Gamzat Maksetbaev in sambo under 53 kg.

Bronze medals were awarded across various disciplines, including team and doubles events in table tennis, singles table tennis (Rakhmatillo Abdurashidov, Maftuna Gulimova), swimming (Javlon Ganiev — 200 m butterfly, Muhammaddismoyil Rakhmonov — 50 m butterfly), WT taekwondo (Shokhzahon Akhmedov — 63 kg, Mubina Bobosaidova — 62 kg), and sambo (Avaz Ergashev — 58 kg, Davlatjon Kazimov — 64 kg, Shokhzahon Golibov — 88 kg, Saidakhmad Ravshanov — 98 kg).
