Uzbekistan Wins 12 Medals at Para-Athletics Grand Prix in Dubai
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The international Para-Athletics Grand Prix in Dubai concluded with the participation of about 400 athletes from 46 countries, including the Uzbekistan national team.
Uzbek athletes achieved impressive results, winning a total of 12 medals: two gold, six silver, and four bronze. The gold medals were claimed by Makhliyo Akramova and Khurshid Kodirov in the hammer throw.
Silver medals were won by Khurshid Kodirov in the shot put, Barotjon Bakhtirov in shot put, long jump, and 100 meters sprint, as well as Tolibboy Yoldoshev in shot put and Temur Giyazov in the long jump.
Bronze medals went to Jasur Khodjaev and Oybek Berdiyev in shot put, Sodikjon Mamadiev in long jump, and Azizbek Abdukarimov in shot put.
These achievements demonstrate the high level of training of Uzbek athletes and strengthen the country’s position in international para-athletics.
