Uzbekistan uses investments for 41 trln. soums in 2015

According to the Ministry, about US$3.3 billion or 21% of total investments were foreign investments and credits, which rose by 9.1%. The foreign direct investments made up US$2.4 billion.

The Fund for Reconstruction and Development of Uzbekistan issued loans for US$728.6 million to finance major investment projects in the strategic sectors of the economy.

About 78.2% of total investments were non-centralized investments in 2015, of which 30.9% were own resources of the business entities (+12.6%), which was the result of the active implementation of sectoral programmes of diversification and increasing competitiveness of productions, as well as regional programmes of socio-economic development of regions.
