Uzbekistan, US discuss perspective directions of cooperation

Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs Nisha Desai Biswal received a delegation of Uzbek Government officials led by Foreign Minister Kamilov, the press-service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said.

At the meeting, the sides summed up results of bilateral interaction for period, passed since previous stage of consultations in 2012 and considered perspective directions of further developing relations in political, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres.

It was underlined that this format of bilateral interaction is considered as the important mechanism on intensifying and strengthening the Uzbek-US dialogue.
