Uzbekistan Updates Procedure for Forecasting State Budget Revenues
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A Presidential Decree has been adopted in Uzbekistan titled “On Measures to Improve the Procedure for Forecasting State Budget Revenues”, aimed at enhancing the transparency and efficiency of budget planning.
The document establishes that in the 2026 financial year, quarterly projected indicators of state budget revenues will be approved by the Ministry of Economy and Finance according to sources of revenue and territorial distribution, in coordination with the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Once approved, within three working days, the projected revenue figures for district and city budgets, broken down by sources and quarters, must be formalized by the decisions of the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, as well as the khokims of regions and the city of Tashkent.
The decree also stipulates that any changes to already approved revenue projections may be made by the Ministry of Economy and Finance only in agreement with the Presidential Administration.
It is further emphasized that starting from 2026, the calculation of projected state budget revenues for the upcoming financial year will be conducted in an automated format using the information system of the Ministry of Economy and Finance.
