Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 29 July 2020, in the format of a video conference, another round of inter-MFA consultations on inventory and improvement of the legal framework of Uzbek-Ukrainian cooperation was held.
The delegation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine was headed by Deputy Director of the Department of International Law Sergey Koledov and Adviser of the Department Ivan Novitsky.
The parties discussed the current state of the existing legal framework and exchanged views on expanding the legal framework for bilateral cooperation.
An agreement was reached to speed up the elaboration of practically significant documents in the trade, economic, agricultural and educational spheres.
In order to intensify interdepartmental political dialogue and interaction on issues of mutual interest, the experts agreed to start developing a periodic program of cooperation between the foreign ministries of the two countries.
At the meeting, the delegations also exchanged views and experiences on the participation of the two countries in international rule-making, including on the progressive development and codification of international law.
