Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — During a visit to London, a delegation from Uzbekistan led by Davron Vakhabov, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, held a series of bilateral meetings with representatives of the British business community, according to Dunyo news agency.

The delegation met with Anna-Maria Martin, Director for International and Local Companies at the British Chamber of Commerce; Karim Fatehi, CEO of the London Chamber of Commerce; Ikbal Sakrani, Chairman of the Muslim Business Forum; and Koyas Mia, Head of International Relations at the Suffolk County Chamber of Commerce.

Discussions focused on expanding cooperation between business communities, facilitating Uzbek companies’ entry into the UK market, business support mechanisms, and developing direct B2B contacts.

Priority sectors included electrical engineering, textiles, food production, jewelry manufacturing, and tourism. Special attention was given to promoting Uzbekistan’s investment and tourism potential and strengthening the national brand in the UK.

At the conclusion of the meetings, the parties agreed to deepen collaboration, organize joint business missions, and support Uzbek companies entering the British market.
