Uzbekistan U-22 not to play in Commonwealth Cup

Uzbekistan U-22 will not participate in the Commonwealth Cup, which will be held in Saint Petersburg, Russia, from 24 January to 2 February 2014.
According to the press service of the UFF, Uzbekistan U-22 will play in the AFC U-22 Championship in January in Oman, which coincide with the dates of the Commonwealth Cup.
Shukhrat Maqsudov will be head coach of Uzbekistan U-22. He was recently appointed to this post by the UFF leadership.
