Uzbekistan U-22 loses to Iraq

Uzbekistan U-22 suffered a 2-1 defeat at the hand of Iraq in the second match of the Group D of the AFC U-22 Championship in Oman.
Marwan Al Ajeeli opened the score on nine minutes. Mustafa Jari doubled the lead of Iraq on 38 minutes of the game.
Pakhtakor Tashkent midfielder Jamshid Iskanderov scored an only goal of Uzbekistan in the match on 63 minutes of the games.
Shukhrad Maqsudov’s side will hold their next match in Group D against Saudi Arabia on 16 January.
