Uzbekistan U-17 team loses to Morocco at tournament in Spain

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Uzbekistan U-17 national team was defeated by Morocco in the third round of the international Costa De La Luz U18 tournament, taking place in Spain.

The match ended 4:3 in favor of Morocco. For the Uzbek side, goals were scored by Saifiddin Sodikov, Muminxon Bakhodirkhonov, and Khairullo Ergashev, who was invited to the training camp in Jerez and plays for the club Rot-Weiss Eintracht.

This tournament is part of Uzbekistan’s preparations for the upcoming FIFA U-17 World Cup, which will be held in Qatar.
