Uzbekistan U-17 Falls to Ireland at FIFA U-17 World Cup

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Uzbekistan U-17 national football team suffered a 2-1 defeat against Ireland in the second round of Group J at the FIFA U-17 World Cup in Qatar.

Abubakir Shukurlullaev opened the scoring in the 20th minute, but Grady McDonnell equalized just 13 minutes later. The winning goal was scored by Michael Noonan in the 75th minute.

After two rounds, Ireland leads Group J with 6 points. Uzbekistan and Paraguay are tied for second and third place with 3 points each, while Panama remains without points.
