Uzbekistan U-17 Draws with Chertanovo in Friendly Match

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Uzbekistan U-17 national football team continues its preparations for the upcoming FIFA U-17 World Cup, which will take place later this year in Qatar.

As part of a training camp in Russia, the team played a friendly match against the Moscow-based club Chertanovo.

The match ended in a 1–1 draw, with Uzbekistan’s goal scored by Asilbek Aliyev.

This was the second match of the training camp in Russia. Earlier, the Uzbek side secured a 1–0 victory over their peers from CSKA Moscow.

Uzbekistan’s U-17 team is the reigning Asian champion and is preparing for the global tournament with high ambitions.
