Uzbekistan U-17 defeats UAE in friendly match

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan U-17 held its first friendly match against the UAE within its training camp on 15 February 2013, Uzbekistan Football Federation said.

Dilshod Nuraliev’s side claimed a 1-0 victory over the UAE. The only goal of the match was scored on 30 minutes by Dostonbek Hamdamov.

As reported earlier, Uzbekistan U-17 held a friendly match against Dubai Sport Club, which ended with a 5-0 victory of the Uzbek side.

Uzbekistan U-17 will play against the UAE on 17 February. The team will return to Tashkent on 26 February.

Uzbekistan U-17, champions of Asia, will participate in the FIFA U-17 World Cup, which will be held in the UAE from 17 October to 8 November.
