Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Ravshanbek Alimov, Ambassador of Uzbekistan, held talks in Ashgabat with Guvanch Agajanov, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, according to the Dunyo news agency.

The sides discussed current issues related to the further development of bilateral cooperation in the fuel and energy sector. Particular attention was paid to expanding interaction and implementing joint projects.

It was noted that, thanks to the consistent political will and efforts of the leaders of both countries, Uzbek–Turkmen relations have reached a qualitatively new level in recent years. Cooperation between the two nations continues to develop dynamically across a wide range of areas.

The participants emphasized that collaboration in the fuel and energy sector is steadily strengthening, supported by concrete initiatives and practical outcomes.

The meeting also included an exchange of views on enhancing cooperation in the oil and gas industry, including prospects for deepening partnership and expanding joint activities.
