Uzbekistan to take part in the International Exhibition "Green Week - 2019"

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Ministry of Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan jointly with the Uzexpocenter will organize a national stand of the Republic of Uzbekistan at the 84th Green Week International Exhibition 2019 in Berlin (Germany), which will be held from 18 to 27 January 2019.

The international exhibition "Green Week - 2019" is one of the largest events in the field of food industry, horticulture, agriculture and forestry. It is expected that over 1,600 exhibitors from 70 countries of the world and about 400 thousand visitors will take part in the exhibition.

The objectives of the participation of the delegation of the Republic in the exhibition are:

- presentation of the achievements and existing potential of the republic in the cultivation, production and processing of fruits and vegetables in the national pavilion with an area of 195 square meters. m .;

- wide familiarization of visitors and exhibitors with the production of organic, biologically pure agricultural products (without the use of fertilizers and genetic modification);

- familiarization with advanced international experience and modern technologies in the field of production and processing of agricultural products, as well as the establishment of sustainable partnerships with leading international companies in this field;

- Presentation of the rich cultural and historical heritage and tourism of Uzbekistan, as well as a demonstration of national cuisine.

The exhibition will present economic and export potential of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The stand will feature natural and processed fruits and vegetables, spices, seasonings, wine and vodka products, finished handicraft products, as well as a zone for the presentation of national cuisine and the tourist potential of Uzbekistan.

It is also planned to conclude solid export contracts for the supply of fresh and processed fruits and vegetables, wine products and food industry to EU markets.

This event is a promising opportunity for national manufacturers to present their products on the world market, which will allow to establish cooperation with foreign partners, increase export volumes, as well as expand the geography of supplies.

It should be noted that all the presented companies and their products will also be exhibited on the virtual platform of the Green Week - 2019 exhibition, which will make it possible to offer products and services to potential partners remotely.

The Ministry invites producers of fruit and vegetable products, companies in the food industry, artisans and all interested persons to cooperate in the exhibition.
