Uzbekistan to simplify permission documents in sphere of nature

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- State Committee of Uzbekistan on nature protection is planning to simplify procedures on issuing permission documents in the sphere of environment protection in 2014.

Speaking at the Board of the Committee, the chairperson of the committee Bakhtiyor Abdusamatov named strategic tasks for 2014.

He said that permission procedures in the sphere of environment protection should be simplified. It was recommended to optimize tariffs, decrease term of consideration, save time of organizations and enterprises and create system on accepting preliminary documents in electronic forms.

According to him, it is time to provide preferences at calculation of compensation payments of enterprises and organizations, which introduced high-technologic and ecologic clean technologies in industry.

He also noted that state ecologic expertise of the objects, included to investment programme of Uzbekistan for 2014, should be speeded up.

It was noted that the committee should use all its opportunities in considering documents on allocation of lands. The committee should also eliminate shortages in places on consideration of the applications of the businesses.

The employees of territorial committees in places were recommended to carry out exploitation work on ecologic expertise among business circles.

It was also recommended to introduce “ecologic marking” and “energy marking” of products, manufactured in Uzbekistan to form competitive environment and promote products in external markets.

Head of the committee also recommended to carry out full inventory of all objects of voluntary and mandatory certification to full coverage of ecologic certification of all technological processes and services.

The board also recommended the committee to use information-communication technologies and provide interactive services to population and business circles.
